Flusher app for iPhone and iPad

Flusher helps users access safe and appropriate washroom facilities. The Flusher database now contains over 100 washrooms, with more being added. Washrooms are evaluated for cleanliness, accessibility and layout, ensuring that users can find a washroom that suites their unique needs.

Search a location for nearby washrooms and click on the pin to find out more about their features including wheelchair access, key requirements, baby-changing stations and stall format. Get directions to a washroom by clicking on the green arrow. Once the washroom visit is complete, take the opportunity to give feedback about the washroom and help other users make informed choices.

Flusher was developed with support from the Ryerson University Accessibility Program, a collaboration between The Chang School, DMZ, and Sandbox by DMZ. The project has been featured on CBC and CTV news.
Flusher is building a community around shame-free and judgement-free access to clean and appropriate washroom facilities, ensuring that those with specific washroom needs can live their lives with more predictable access to medically necessary washroom facilities.
